The Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded update is set to bring even more new content to the game, including new weapons, maps, and much more.
Even by Call of Duty‘s standards, Season 3 was absolutely huge. The return of Verdansk in Warzone stole the headlines, which led to a major bump in interest, but multiplayer also benefited from classic guns like the Kilo 141 and the return of the Firing Range map.
As always, though, the start of the season is just the beginning, so here’s everything we know that’s coming in the mid-season update.
Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded start date
Season 3 Reloaded is set to begin on Thursday, May 1, 2025, based on how previous seasons have worked. The Reloaded update always drops midway through a season, and since Season 4 is coming on May 29 and Season 3 started on April 2, this date is the halfway point.
Of course, it could be moved forward or backward as development continues, so we’ll keep this section updated with the latest details.
New SMG
Black Ops 6 gets a brand-new weapon with the update, in the form of the Ladra SMG. For all intents and purposes, it’s the same as Spectre, which first appeared in the original Black Ops all the way back in 2010.
It comes with relatively low power for a weapon in its class, but more than makes up for it with an “extreme” fire rate and low recoil.
You’ll be able to unlock it as part of an unannounced event, likely for earning XP or completing specific challenges. However, if you miss out, it’ll be available through the Armory.
New maps
There are three multiplayer maps being introduced, two of which are brand-new. The first, Haven, is a 6v6 map set in a KGB safehouse, that’s been left in a “dilapidated state of disrepair, overgrown and cracking apart at the seams.”
Meanwhile, Signal is a smaller Strike map that takes place in an underground submarine hangar, which also features opportunities to flank by heading underwater.
There will also be a new Nuketown variant called “Blazetown,” which continues Call of Duty’s run of 4/20-inspired content.
Perk
On top of the Ladra SMG, there’s also a new Perk coming to improve your loadouts, called Vendetta. The Perk 2 option marks the location of the last player that killed you for a short time after respawning, making it much easier to track them down and return the favor.
It’s set to be handed out as part of another in-game event, but it hasn’t been confirmed which one.
